Services
What services does Ekatva Projects offer?
We offer three core services: Interior Designing (concept to material selection), Project Execution (on-site delivery with a dedicated project engineer), and Project Management Consultancy (independent oversight for clients who already have a designer or contractor). Each service can be engaged individually or as a complete end-to-end package.
Do you handle procurement of furniture and materials?
Yes. We manage the full procurement process, from sourcing to delivery and installation. We work with a curated network of trusted vendors and verify every material with the client before it reaches site. You know exactly what is going in your space and at what cost.
Can you work with my existing furniture and decor?
Absolutely. During the design phase, we assess your existing pieces and advise what to keep, reposition, refinish, or reupholster. Our goal is to create a cohesive space, not to replace things unnecessarily. Many clients are surprised how much of their existing furniture finds a place in the new design.
Do you design for both residential and commercial spaces?
Our primary focus is residential interiors, from single rooms to full-home renovations. We approach every project with the same rigour regardless of scale. For commercial enquiries, please reach out and we will assess on a case-by-case basis.
Process and timeline
How does the design process work at Ekatva?
We follow a structured four-step process. First, we meet to understand your vision, lifestyle, and how you use the space. Within 24 hours, we deliver an all-inclusive quotation and arrange a guided material visit. We then develop 3D realistic views and detailed 2D working drawings covering layout, ceiling, electrical, elevations, and material schedules. Once approved, our project engineer takes over on-site and manages execution through to final handover.
How long does a typical project take?
A single room typically takes 4 to 6 weeks from design sign-off to handover. A full 2BHK or 3BHK home renovation runs between 10 and 16 weeks depending on scope and material availability. At the planning stage, you receive a milestone-based timeline so you always know what is happening and when.
How involved do I need to be during the project?
As involved as you want to be. We provide structured updates and flag decisions that require your input, but we handle day-to-day coordination so you are not managing vendors or chasing contractors. Most clients appreciate being consulted at key milestones without being overwhelmed by operational detail.
Do you work outside Ahmedabad?
Yes. We take projects across Gujarat and select projects elsewhere in India. For outstation work, we combine virtual design consultations with periodic in-person site visits during critical execution phases. This has worked well for clients in Mumbai, Surat, and Vadodara.
Pricing
How is pricing structured?
Pricing is project-specific and depends on scope, materials, and level of customisation. After our first meeting, we provide a single all-inclusive quotation that covers design, materials, labour, and project management. There are no line items that appear later.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. Transparency in pricing is non-negotiable for us. If the scope changes at your request, we discuss the cost implication before proceeding. Nothing is executed without your approval and nothing is billed without prior agreement.
What is the payment schedule?
Payments are structured in milestones aligned to project progress, typically linked to design sign-off, material procurement, and execution stages. The exact schedule is outlined in your project agreement before work begins.
Getting started
How do I get started?
Reach out via our contact form, email, or WhatsApp. We will schedule a free initial consultation, either at our studio in Paldi or at your site. The conversation takes about an hour and covers your requirements, timeline, and budget range. There is no obligation to proceed.
What should I bring to the first consultation?
If you have floor plans, bring them along. Reference images of styles or spaces you like are helpful too. If you have neither, do not worry. Part of our process is drawing out your preferences through conversation. We will guide you through it.
Can I see examples of your previous work before deciding?
Yes. Our portfolio showcases completed residential projects with real photographs. During the consultation, we can walk you through projects most relevant to your brief, including aspects like material choices, spatial challenges we solved, and outcomes the client was happy with.
